Alios Finance is a pan-African asset finance company that targets SMEs, multinationals and individuals with products such as leasing, investment loans and consumer finance.
With current operations in eight African countries; Alios Finance is opening a new Group Holding Office in Nairobi.
To support this expansion, we are looking for two exceptional individuals for the following positions.
Chief Accountant
Primary tasks:

To support this expansion, we are looking for two exceptional individuals for the following positions.
Chief Accountant
Primary tasks:
- Consolidate Group accounts
- Pilot optimization of the accounting and tax aspects of the Group and its subsidiaries in Africa
- Manage all financial, legal, tax and administrative aspects of the 4 companies of the holding of the Group in France, Tunisia and Kenya
Required qualifications:
- Masters degree in Finance, Business or Accounting
- At least 5 years work experience in an accounting function, in a financial institution or a reputable audit firm
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting and reporting formats, both in Anglophone and Francophone Africa
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Understanding of and experience in credit
- Bilingual in English and French
- Capable of working in an international environment. Frequent travels around Africa and to Europe are required
Analyst
Primary tasks:
Primary tasks:
- Establish and analyze the monthly reporting of the Group and its subsidiaries
- Participate in the development and management of budgets
- Develop business plans and other types of analysis to aid the Group senior management in decision making
Required qualifications:
- Masters degree in Finance, Business or Accounting
- At least 2 years full time work experience in a financial institution, investment firm or similar
- Experience in and understanding of credit
- Understanding of reporting and accounting
- Fluent in English. At least a working knowledge of French
- Capable of working in an international environment. Frequent travels around Africa and to Europe are required
