General Manager Job Vacancy: Gitithia Rural Agro Finance

Gitithia Rural Agro Finance is a growing Micro Finance institution based at Uplands Limuru serving her members in branches spread over Nairobi, Central and Rift Valley provinces.

GRAFCC is seeking to recruit a General Manager who will be based at Uplands, Limuru who will be reporting to the Board

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the implementation of GRAFCC’s strategic plan
2. Coordinate, Manage and evaluate staffing and training needs of GRAFCC to ensure overall efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Manage GRAFCC budget and ensure that set objectives are met.
4. Develop effective internal and financial controls, specifically on loan appraisals, disbursements and repayments.
5. Lead a strategic project related to past due loans collections
6. Propose new financial service possibilities to the Board in the interest of revenue growth.
7. Prepare accurate and timely reports (on a monthly and quarterly basis showing progress against set targets.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications;

• University graduate preferably in Business Administration
• At least 3 years managerial experience in a Micro Finance Institution with a successful track record.
• Experience in working with and supporting customers.
• Strong project management skills and proven experience
• Highly analytical and decisive decision maker.
• Computer literate, knowledge of finance or accounting software packages
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
