The Residence Hotel Group Zanzibar Job Vacancies

The award-winning international hotel group The Residence Group and its newly built property The Residence Zanzibar, are currently looking to recruit highly dedicated, dynamic and experienced individuals with a proven track of successful experiences in deluxe hotel operations to join our Team on the Island of Zanzibar as from autumn 2010.

The Residence Zanzibar is currently being built on a 32 hectares of beautiful land alongside a one and a half kilometers long beach. The property boasts 66 villas located amongst a beautiful coconut grove, all featuring their own private pool.

The decoration of the villas is an inspired blend of sobriety and elegance. Michelin stars restaurants, exclusive spa with international cosmetic brand will ensure that our guests have a magnificent time in our property.

Finance Controller

You will be leading a team that includes all the financial functions, Information Technology & Purchasing departments. You will be reporting directly to the General Manager and be part of the Executive Team.

Information Technology (IT) Manager

You will have a proven track record of 5 years as an IT Manager in an international company. You will have some certification amongst which the preferred ones are MCSE (Microsoft certified system engineer), Network administrator. You will be familiar with Fidelio/Sun Systems and good knowledge of Windows server 2008.

Executive Housekeeper

You will be leading a team of more than 60 people. You will have the Housekeeper, the Head Butler, the laundry manager directly reporting to you.

The Residence Zanzibar will be focusing on delivering an outstanding quality to our distinguished guests, and the Housekeeping department will play a key role in our success. You will be part of the Senior Head of Department Team.
