A dynamic Business Development Executive is required to join a cleaning company covering Nairobi and Mombasa. The role will entail selling contract cleaning services to offices and retail premise, finding new clients and attending site appointments. The individual will need to be a proactive self starter and comfortable sourcing and following up on new leads.
He/she must also possess the aptitude to sell our products and services to key decision makers and maintain profitable margins in a highly competitive industry. He/she must also have a proven track record of sales. They should be energetic, dynamic, driven, hungry and enthusiastic about their product.
Experience in a similar role in a Cleaning company with a proven track record of face-to-face sales will be an added advantage. He/she should be confident, as they will be responsible for winning cleaning contracts and building new area and client base.

Preferred experience in the technology sales and business development function with global telecom equipment managed services providers or Fortune 100 global IT majors
Prior business development experience in the African continent is preferable - telecom services/ telecom equipment or infrastructure/ IT services

The Role Profile
The ideal candidate (s) will among other things
Be responsible for meeting Country/Regional sales targets for key accounts and ensure that the solutions for the Key accounts are met.
Act as a single point of contact for any sales in the account/region as well as address customer queries.
Coordinate with Country Teams to meet business objectives as they engage country managers and solution heads to develop marketing strategies.
Define/contribute to the pricing structure and overall value proposition with respect to competition.
Market Intelligence and Information Management
Gather information on market trends, user needs and preferences.
Be an internal expert on the market for network outsourcing.
Proposal and Bidding
Be part of the development of the bid responses.
Respond to RFP/RFI received from operators.
Support the CCO in expanding the business.
Your Profile
A graduate from a premier institute and the right mix of technical and business knowledge.
A degree in a business discipline and experience in Business development and Key Account Management will be an added advantage.
6-10 years experience in B2B environment preferably in telecom services/equipment or IT services.
A proven track record in the ability to develop good networks/relationships within and outside the organisation
Experience in handling multiple key accounts will be an advantage
Remuneration
These are senior level positions and will attract remuneration suitable to them and matched by past experience and expertise of the candidates.

Engineering Sector Business Development Manager
Location: Nairobi
Our client, a global procurement service provider with operations in Europe, North America, Ghana and Nigeria is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager as a first step towards establishing a new branch in Kenya.
Our client’s core business is focused on delivering innovative solutions to meeting the challenges faced when creating world class maintenance operations including improved procurement processes, inventory optimisation, increased production levels and the minimisation of ‘down time’.
We are specifically looking for a Graduate engineer, looking to break into a sales/ customer service oriented career and with experience in one of the following industries: Food and Beverage Manufacture/Packaging, Oil/Gas, Pharmaceutical or Chemical.
The successful candidate will need to have clear understanding of how various manufacturing sites work and the demands placed upon the end users.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify new business while continuing to develop greater levels of business / customer service with existing clients.
* Coordinate the local import/customs procedures.
* Help client’s resolve problems before they escalate.
* Help strengthen excellent reputation for service and quality within the targeted market sector.
* To undertake relationship management by marketing and brand positioning of company.
Qualifications/ Skills
* University Degree an engineering related course.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Be self motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative whilst also being able to be an active member of a functional team.
* Face to face experience of working with customers and suppliers.
* Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
* Hold a valid Kenyan Passport.

Business Manager, Kybes Cleaning Services job vacancy in Nairobi, Kenya
- Proactively contribute towards growing revenue and the portfolio of clients.
- Fulfill operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; procuring the required supplies; supervising pest control services; following up on work results.
- Manage Customer Service Levels Agreements
- Hire, direct, supervise and train operational staff.
- Manage expenditure within budget by focusing on effective cost control.
- Prepare and submit monthly statutory returns, that is, VAT, PAYE, NSSF, and NHIF
- Ensure that customers are billed accordingly and payments for the same are collected.
- Diploma in Sales, Business Administration, Housekeeping or related qualification.
- Previous experience in cleaning industry will be an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Flexible to work irregular hours including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong organisation, communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
