Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Purpose of the position
To facilitate timely, ethical and professional execution of investment decisions to global accepted standards.
The role holder will also maintain and drive research analysis for both Fixed Income and Equity instruments
Duties/Responsibilities
Timely implementation of written investment decisions as guided by Fund Manager(s) and in accordance with agreed house view.
Monitor and report market trends.
Preparing annual due diligence on intermediaries and counterparties
Monitor and report broker business allocation on monthly basis
Professionally manage stock broker and treasury relationships
Liaise with back office on enquiries and accuracy of client portfolios
Responsibility over regular company research visits and analysis
Develop and continually update appropriate data base and analysis necessary to assist in making investment decisions
Participate and contribute in investment committee decisions
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Requires a degree in Finance or business administration and developing Investment qualifications.
Fully computer literate
High Integrity and honesty
Good interpersonal and communication & negotiation skills.
Highly numerate.
