A USAID-funded agriculture project with the goal of raising the incomes and food security levels of small-scale farmers wishes to recruit an IT Manager based in Nairobi.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing IT support, systems maintenance and systems development services to staff based throughout the country.
This position will be responsible for:
- Configuring and supporting software applications;
- Managing IT security and continuity, including data backups, disaster recover procedures and updating anti-virus software;
- Diagnosing and correcting networking problems;
- Analysing user requirements, procedures and problems in order to provide effective solutions;
- Maintaining and servicing all computer hardware and equipment;
- Training users in IT software and hardware as needed.
- Maintaining helpdesk support.
Professional ICT qualifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent are desired.
Proven experience in ICT troubleshooting, network administration and SQL server administration is a must.
