Business development officer job in Kenya

A training and consulting firm wishes to recruit an individual to fill the position of Business Development Manager.The Job Description is as below:

ROLE

• Seek appointments/presentations with senior corporate managers and departmental heads.
• Grow sales in KPI Dashboards adoption by corporate organizations.
• Participate is web marketing storms, website monitoring & content management
• Manage  monthly, Quarterly & Special training sessions (On-site & Off-site trainings)
• Promote the company brand in the market
• Deliver on minimum training class sizes for onsite & off-site trainings
• Develop & keep a detailed database of past clients
• Advice management on service/product acceptability in the market

QUALIFICATIONS

    * University degree in Marketing, Business Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
    * A minimum of one year dealing with training products/services to corporate organizations
    * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel 2007/2010 is a distinct advantage though PowerPoint, One Note and MS Visio also preferred
    * Strong presentation and negotiation skills
    * Ability to meet very strict deadlines and targets
    * Proven knowledge/experience in writing sales proposals, marketing plans,
    * Must be Independent and can work under minimum supervision
