Assistant administration manager job in Kenya

Summary:
Our client is a well established college managed by lecturers to provide high quality professional training and skills in accountancy, Information and communication technology and related areas through teaching, research and consultancy. It now offers full courses in accountancy and information technology tailored to the needs of the students. Based in the Mombasa branch, the Assistant Administration Manager will provide administrative support to the institute including organizing events, handling procurement and assisting in the daily activities taking place within the institution.
Description:
·         Assisting in the day to day running of the Institution
·         Assisting in organizing the Institutions’ events and/or activities
·         Processing marking fee payments of the Academic Staff and other support staff.
·         Under direction of the Administration Manager, undertake procurement of office consumables.
·         Assist in maintenance of store records.
·         Signatory to students’ identification Cards.
·         Checking students’ internal examination scripts
·         Assist in overseeing Office Repairs and Maintenance
Requirements:
·         Minimum first degree in Business Administration/Commerce or relevant field
·         2 years experience in a busy environment; experience working in an academic institution/college/university will be an added advantage.
·         Strong administrative and organizational skills
·         Computer proficient
·         Good in oral and written communication
·         Sense of confidentiality and integrity
·         Extremely reliable
·         Ability to work with minimal supervision
