Agronomists
2 positions

Qualifications & Experience:

    * BSc or MSc Degree in Agriculture with a strong bias in crop protection and soil science.
    * Minimum 5 years experience in Agrochemical Field Trials involving designing and developing experiments. Should have local knowledge of East African crops and soils.
    * Must be conversant with the necessary procedures and protocols including safety and efficacy and have good knowledge of regulatory compliance (GLP / official recognition) that govern official field studies and reporting protocols.
    * Demonstrate detailed understanding of critical phases of field studies (site location, applications, assessments and / or samplings) in accordance with the requirements of the study plan.
    * Knowledge in setting up and managing field trials in a wide variety of crops and conditions, including greenhouses according to stringent technical and quality guidelines – GEP/GLP – is essential.
    * Computer literate - good report writing and data handling skills are required.
    * Must be motivated and enthusiastic, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team when required.
    * Excellent communication skills - able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and technical development staff at all levels.
    * Be at least 28 years of age.
    * Possession of a valid driving license and a passport will be an added advantage.
