Engineering Manager job in Tanzania

As part of the development and succession planning KVTC is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to assist in maintaining and improving performance of the plants:
The Role:
· Manage a team of mechanics and electricians
· Maintain operational availability of the plants
· Plan and schedule maintenance requirements for the factory
· Control Engineering budgets
· Analyze and resolve bottle necks in the process
· Maintain Health and Safety Standards
· Manage Overall Mill and Site Environmental Standards
Profile:
· Degree or Diploma in Electrical of Mechanical Engineering
· Hands-on practical manager / problem solver
· Minimum of 15 year experience in Engineering field
· Preferably experience in forest industry or agro-processing industries (sugar, tea or similar)
· Experience with PLC Controllers, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Mechanical Systems is a must
· Computer literate (MS Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point)
· Fluent in both English as Kiswahili
· Tanzanian or East African (Kenya, Uganda)
