Information Technology Officer
Salary Scale 10
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily performance of computer systems within the Council.
Assist assigned users in use of computer software, including standard office software, website and electronic mails.
Identify and resolve computer operation problems and network configuration.
Perform other responsibilities in line with the above position.
Qualifications
C+ and above in 'O' level.
A minimum of a Diploma in Information Technology from a reputable institution.
Good knowledge in Windows Server, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory, knowledge of Local Authority Integrated Financial Operations Management Systems (LAIFOMS) will be and added advantage.
Experience in computer programming, networking, set up of computer hardware and software.
Ability to provide IT training individually and in group based setting.
Highly motivated, dedicated and a team player.
At least three years experience in a similar position in a reputable organization.
Aged between 25-35 years.
Salary - £17064 x £ 399 - £17463 x £ 447-£ 22827 x £ 660 - £ 24087 p.a
House allowance of Ksh.15,000 per month and a commuter allowance of Ksh.1, 000 per month is also attached to this post.
