Main Purpose:
The Transactions team in our Advisory business provides advisory services to clients on corporate strategic acquisitions, divestitures & sell side advice, restructuring & recovery and delivering deal value. We are seeking to strengthen this team by recruiting highly motivated and qualified professional to fill positions of Analyst in our Transactions team.

Job Description:
The Position holder will be required to demonstrate capabilities with regular supervision in: • Developing project-related technical knowledge and accomplishes work through efficient use of available technology • Demonstrates an understanding of how to prepare effective analyses for example trend analyses, financial ratios • Have basic experience and awareness of applicable accounting and reporting standards and related risks in the applicable financial statement areas • Conducts thorough and accurate research in an organized manner, using full range of available tools and methodologies • Efficiently develops models to analyze collected information and understands M&A process and frameworks for analysis
Requirements
Qualification Level: General Degree Class Of Degree: 2nd Class (Upper Division)
Experience Required: 1 - 2 Years
Competencies / Skills:
• 1-2 years of professional experience either in corporate/ project finance, financial consulting, law, economics or accountancy.
• An undergraduate degree and / or a professional qualification (possession of an MBA or a CFA qualification would be an advantage).
• Familiar with IFRS accounting principles and financial analysis methods.
• First-rate modelling and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Ambitious to work regionally.
• Experience in the infrastructure sectors (telecoms, energy/power, transport and/or water) and in the financial services sectors will be an added advantage.
