Since its inception in 1933, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) has been a global leader in emergency response and providing durable solutions for conflict- and crisis affected populations.
The IRC launched programs in Kenya in the immediate aftermath of the post-election crisis, and has initiated activities that support women and girls in the Dadaab refugee camps through a variety of activities including health and GBV prevention and response programming.
IRC is currently preparing a proposal in response to a USAID-funded request for applications to expand the presence of GBV prevention and response programming throughout Kenya and support the development of peace networks and platforms for women to be effectively involved in decision making and take leadership of their country.
Applications are requested from qualified persons for the following position:
The National Program Coordinator
The National Program Coordinator will provide regular on-site monitoring visits, and continuous remote support to the teams working throughout the country to ensure that all interventions are technically sound, take into account international best practices, and appropriate in meeting the needs of GBV survivors in relevant communities.
