Key Roles
- Implement training methods and procedures that are appropriate for the target group(vulnerable youth of 17-21yrs)
- Transfer skills in the technical areas of Fashion, Textiles, Art & Design and handicrafts.
- Design assessment and evaluation tools for the same.
- Liaise with others to ensure the effective management of the training programme.
- Offer Guiding and Counselling to the trainees
- Maintain high standards of discipline among the trainees
Qualifications
- Diploma in Clothing Technology or Fashion Design
- Technical expertise in designing, cutting and assembly of garments
- At least 2yrs working experience in a similar position.
- A dynamic and self motivated individual who can work without supervision.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills( both oral and written)
- Fluency in English and Swahili
- Computer literate
- Good interpersonal skills
- Initiative and creativity in programme delivery
- High integrity
