General Manager and Deputy General Manager Job Vacancies: Integrated Plantation Group

A large Integrated Plantation Group with Head Office in the United Kingdom and having Tea, Coffee and Macadamia Plantations in Malawi requires a General Manager and
Deputy General Manager for one of it's Subsidiary Companies.

Experience required:

General Manager:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a Senior Management position which required direct reporting to the Board of Directors.
• Extensive experience in Coffee and/or Macadamia Plantation operations, with a University degree in Agriculture/ Engineering with Computer literacy and working knowledge of Financial accounting is required.
  
• Applicants must be below 55 years of age.

Deputy General Manager:

• Minimum 15 years experience in Coffee cultivation.
  
• University Degree or Diploma in Agriculture/ Horticulture with computer literacy is required.
• Job Description: These are senior management positions, but the ideal candidate would be expected to be "hand's on managers".

Successful candidates for both positions will be expected to work with targets on Production, Cost and Quality.

Residence will be on the Plantation in suitable comfortable accommodation and the work will require both incumbents to directly oversee daily field operations.

The General Manager wilt be responsible for all the Company's operations and the Deputy General Manager will be reporting to the General Manager.

Remunerations: The Annual remunerations will be commensurate to the incumbents' experience and in line with Expatriate levels.
