Senior Projects Analyst
Ref: FIN – SPA – NOV09
Reporting to the Capital Projects Manager, the job holder will be responsible for ensuring proper management of the company’s capital projects costs, in line with the approved budget plan.
In addition, monitoring and reporting on the Network financial performance, as well as the network operating costs.

Reporting to the Capital Projects Manager, the job holder will be responsible for ensuring proper management of the company’s capital projects costs, in line with the approved budget plan.
In addition, monitoring and reporting on the Network financial performance, as well as the network operating costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the company’s Capex;
- Review of capital projects being undertaken in liaison with the user department and assess the impact of specific projects on the overall company budget plan;
- Capex utilization reporting;
- Preparation of depreciation and Capex cash flow forecasts for updating budget plans;
- In liaison with the Technical division, participate in the provision of accurate information on Network Opex costs for the preparation of the company annual forecasting and updates as specified by Vodafone;
- Prepare and review the network performance reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Honors degree from a recognized university with CPA (K)/ACCA/CIMA certification or the equivalent;
- 4-5 years accounting experience in management & corporate reporting for financial & management information;
- Thorough understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standards and experience in application & enforcement of these standards;
- Experience in preparation of periodic budgets and forecasts;
- Ability to analyze processes and systems for enhancement of efficiencies and performance;
- Excellent knowledge and hands on working experience in operating Microsoft Office suite, and Oracle Financials;
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under minimum supervision;
- Ability to relate well with both internal and external customers and work in teams;
- Proactive, confident, self- driven for results with keen attention to detail;
- A proven team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
