The company has three subsidiaries all located in Dar es Salaam with its growing number of staff. The company has the following vacancies that need to be filled by qualified, experienced, committed and self motivated Tanzanians.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Duties and Responsibilities of the incumbent include (but not limited to ) the following;
To carry out services, maintenance and repair of customers' equipments both in the workshop and at the site.
• To attend all customer calls for maintenance, service and repairs of printers and copiers and other IT equipments promptly and efficiently.
• To implement all the service and maintenance schedules of the customer and company equipments as directed and set by the Technical Manager.
• To continuously consult 'and advice Technical Manager on all matters pertaining to service and maintenance of printers, copiers and other electronic equipments
• To carry out technical installations implemented by the company which mainly involve but not limited to support activities to customers, service maintenance and repair of office machine
• To act as a technical resources in assisting users to resolve problems with equipments and data, providing a centralized help desk to facilitate exchange of information and advice, implement solutions or notifies outsource providers as reqUired
• Makes hardware and software acquisition recommendations including helping users assess needs and providing justifications for equipment and services
• Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, inclUding troubleshooting hardware and software, network and peripheral equipment problems and make repairs and corrections where required
• Install, assemble and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as scanners, printers, and related hardware, pulls cables and rewires or directs the rewiring of cables as required for new installations and reconfiguration
• To carry out any other duties as may be required by the management
Required Qualifications and Competencies;
• Minimum University Degree or Diploma / FTC from a recognized Institution in a relevant profession backed up with practical experience of not less than 3 years in service and repair of computers, photocopy machines, printers and other Electronic Equipments
• Candidate should be creative, energetic, and flexible to work under pressure
• Must be able to work independently with high level of commitment, creative, professionalism and initiative.
• Must be honest, transparent and with high level of integrity
• Must be aged between 25 - 40 years, skilled and conversant with Electronic Equipments.
