Career opportunity: Territory Manager Food And Beverage Division

Food And Beverage Jobs Kenya.

Our client is the global leader in cleaning, sanitizing, food safety and infection prevention products and services, who deliver comprehensive programs and services to food service, food and beverage processing, healthcare, and hospitality markets in more than 160 countries.

Their Kenya office is looking to fill the position of Territory (Sales) Manager in their food and
beverage division. Reporting to the East Africa Sales Manager F&B, the responsibilities in this role will include:

Sales / Customer Relationship Management
Identify and develop new prospects
Regular Customer visits to build long-term relationships
Investigate new application areas and optimization of existing processes by carrying out
surveys
Introduce new programs and service concepts to customers
Preparation and presentation of offers
Manage internal interfaces as required (R&D, Application & Sales support)

Territory Planning
Constantly monitor Markets/Customers/Competitors to establish territory planning
Regularly review sales progress (minimum: monthly) with respect to customers,
programs, products

Execute Service Strategy
Provide professional consultancy on:
Chemical/technical & application issues
Optimization of systems and hygiene procedures
Execute and control field trials and provide appropriate reporting
Deliver appropriate training
Establish, verify & document hygiene plans and their parameters

Reporting
Monthly progress report to Manager
Sales/Service call report to Manager, respectively to customer if applicable
-Establish an annual, monthly and weekly sales plan as well as a weekly activity plan

The knowledge, skills and experience required to be successful in this position include:
Proven sales experience with clear sales and service ‘attitude’
A degree in chemistry, or technical, chemical and process knowledge in related industries /areas Strong presentation and communication skills
