Project Coordinator – Community Safety Somalia

Based in Nairobi, Kenya

Saferworld is an independent non-governmental organisation that works to prevent and reduce violent conflict and promote cooperative approaches to security.

We believe that everyone should be able to lead peaceful and rewarding lives free from insecurity and violence. Saferworld has been working in Africa since 1997, with a primary focus upon East Africa and the Horn region.

We are seeking an experienced project coordinator to lead the implementation of our community safety work in Somalia, the purpose of our community safety work in Somalia is to enhance the capacity of key stakeholders to address community safety issues on a more sustained and inclusive basis.

The successful candidate will require excellent research and communication skills, together with experience of working in complex and politically-sensitive contexts.
