Together with our partners, we are helping managers, leaders and their teams in health organizations in developing countries to strengthen public health practices and their management and leadership capacity and their organization’s management and governance systems to improve health services for the greatest health impact.
MSH is seeking candidates for the following positions to support a Nairobi based USAID-funded project:
HIV/AIDS Program Director
- Minimum of ten (10) years implementing donor-funded health programs in Kenya with substantial knowledge and experience in the area of HIV/AIDS;
- experience working as a Deputy Country or Technical Program Director;
- proven capacity to effectively manage staff and project funds and achieve program results.
- Minimum of MPH, MA/MS in related field;
- Experience with and strong understanding of USAID and PEPFAR rules and regulations required.
- Minimum of seven (7) years managing health services in Kenya, working at national and sub national level. Specialist in HIV/AIDs and/or Reproductive Health program implementation.
- Minimum of MPH or its equivalent required, MD preferred.
- Experience with and strong understanding of USAID and PEFPAR rules and regulations required.
- Minimum five (5) years experience in strengthening institutional capacity of Kenyan non-profit organizations.
- Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining sound financial, management and governance systems for organizational sustainability.
- Minimum of MPH or its equivalent;
- Minimum three (3) yrs experience in a project management/leadership position.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience providing technical leadership and demonstrating success in developing and strengthening health management information systems;
- degree in information sciences with relevant experience working with the MOH Information division.
