TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Technical Services Manager will ensure that the services managed by the company are operated and maintained efficiently and effectively.
The specific duties and responsibilities of the position will include:
Responsibilities and Duties
Directing, coordinating and managing operations and maintenance of water services infrastructure to ensure they meet customer needs
Organizing for project design, implementing and managing of construction works, either through external consultants or in-house resources
Developing departmental strategies, plans and performance standards to facilitate achievement of overall Company goals and objectives
Minimum Qualifications
A university graduate with a degree in civil or water engineering
A minimum of five (5) years experience in managing water and sewerage related services in a management position
AREA MANAGER
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Area Manager will be in charge of the day to day operations of a water supply scheme and ensure that the scheme is maintained to meet expected performance.
The specific duties and responsibilities of the position will include:
Responsibilities and Duties
Supervising and coordinating scheme staff in all aspects of operation and maintenance to ensure that water services provided meet customer needs
Attending and recording customer complaints/reports in order to identify areas of problems and take appropriate measures
Setting up plans and strategies to facilitate achievement of set performance targets
Minimum Qualifications
A university graduate with a degree in civil or water engineering
A minimum of five (5) years experience in managing water and sewerage related services in a management position
HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Human Resources and Administration Officer will be responsible for the management of the Human Resources and Administration functions of the company.
The specific duties and responsibilities of the position will include:
Responsibilities and Duties
Directing, coordinating and managing on a day to day basis with diverse human related issues
Guide and coordinate staff recruitment, placement and periodic appraisals
Taking responsibility for training, development, and disciplinary matters of company staff
Minimum Qualifications
A diploma or equivalent in Human Resource management or first degree in social sciences or related field
A minimum of two (3) years hands on experience in a Human Resource position in a busy environment
LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for ensuring compliance of treated water to the approved quality standards and specifications.
The specific duties and responsibilities of the position will include:
Responsibilities and Duties
Analyzing water and sewerage samples on a regular basis to ensure samples meet the set quality standards and specifications
Maintaining test records and advising on corrective actions as appropriate
Maintaining and operating laboratory equipment and other tools as required
Minimum Qualifications
Ordinary National Diploma in Applied Science
2 years experience in water and waste water laboratory
