Program Officer/Data Manager Job: Impact Research and Development Organization

Impact Research and Development Organization is a national NGO active in HIV prevention and research.

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill the following position which is available in Kisumu.

Program Officer/Data Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• MA in Sociology or Population Studies, with a bias in Statistics; or MPH (Epidemiology or Biostatistics).
• At least 3 years experience managing large databases, with evidence of managing and analyzing complex data sets.
• Training in and experience with quantitative data analysis software, specifically SPSS; knowledge of SAS or STATA and qualitative data analysis software is advantageous.
• Experience working in a busy research or program setting, with large turnover of clients.
• Good writing skills. Proof of writing is required.
• Good understanding of public health issues particularly HIV/AIDS.
• Ability to multitask and attention to details.
