Hilton Nairobi is scouting for a high calibre individual who will be part of our dynamic Sales & Marketing team that will assist in meeting the corporate opportunities of 2009 and beyond. We are looking for a truly outstanding individual who will offer Planning & Operational support as a Sales Account Manager.
SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER.
Duties & Responsibilities.
- Establish and maintain good business relations with customers to ensure continuous loyalty and business.
- Co-ordinate Hilton’s sales activities with the aim of optimal room occupancy and high accommodation revenues.
- Monitor offers, options and cancellations for groups, conventions and seminars in close consultation with the sales manager.
- Achieve set sales volume and revenue targets, while maximizing on debt collection.
- Analyze and submit monthly sales and market trend reports to the Sales Manager.
- Maintain contact with clients in order to resolve any problems as they arise.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts with clients.
Qualifications and Experience.
- Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing OR Business Administration.
- A post-graduate qualification in marketing/sales is desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercially focused organization.
Personal Specifications.
- Hands on knowledge of the hospitality industry.
- Well developed communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
