FOSA TEAM LEADER
Duties and Responsibilities:
The position reports to the General Manager. The job holder will be responsible for management and daily operations of the Sacco Front Office Savings Activity which shall include:
- Planning, organizing and co-ordinating the activities
- Ensuring that financial discipline is maintained
- Cash management including CIT
- Maintenance of required cash ratios to avoid consequences of non-compliance
- Ensure that security arrangements are implemented and maintained in all operations and at all times
- Ensuring customers needs are met appropriately and at the right time
- Entering proper and efficient utilization of savings deposits
- Daily reconciliation of Treasury and Teller cash
- Ensuring confidentiality on all customer accounts
- Maintenance of computer generated member transactions reports and daily back-ups
- Making recommendations and appropriate appraisals on all advances granted to customers
- Ensuring completeness in daily cashbook postings for all accounts
- Reporting all operational encounters of each day to the General Manager
- Enforcement of the control procedures and recommendation of their improvement
- Monitoring and regulating of the Sacco interactivity transactions with Fosa and reporting on the general trend or irregularities.
- Degree in Business or Finance
- Qualified accountant
- Ten (10) years working experience with at least 5 on senior supervisory or team leadership level
- A mature person with integrity and honesty, preferably over 35 years
- Computer literate
- Must have managed an asset portfolio of more than Kshs 200 million
- Currently on full time employment
- Knowledge in C-operative management will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The position reports to the General Manager and responsible for the management and operation of the merchandizing activities, comprising of a Supermarket, Filling Station, and Wholesale Deport.
The job holder's other responsibilities include:
- Planning, organizing and coordinating all merchandizing activities including purchases, sales, marketing and inventory management.
- Ensuring proper financial controls are in place in all operational areas.
- Maximizing on profitability while maintaining appropriate levels of customer satisfaction in terms of product range, quality, timely deliveries / supplies and competitive pricing.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to, coordinate, and motivate staff
- Establish and manage well defined supplier and customer base.
- Ensure, enforce, and maintain appropriate security for products and assets
- Reporting all operational encounters and returns on a daily basis to the General Manager
- Maintain a clean and conducive working environment.
- Ensuring correct maintenance of records.
- Diploma in business, finance, accounts, or supply chain management or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in the same or similar position.
- Mature honest and self motivated person with team leadership / management skills and experience
- Working experience in management of a supermarket or distribution outlets will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in use of computer applications.
