Applications are invited from qualified persons to fill the position of Education Officer in a donkey welfare organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing, developing and expanding the education program
- Develop educational material
- Deliver teaching and training in donkey welfare to children in and out of school and adults in the community
Post graduate; at least 2 years of teaching and working in education with children or adults at a community or classroom level; ability to communicate effectively with children; ability to develop empathy between children and animals; interest in animal welfare and experience owning animals; happy to work alone and travel within Kenya ; ability to combine working alone with working as part of a team; ability to prepare and deliver appropriate reports on education program in a timely manner; experience of rural life; good written and spoken English and Kiswahili; excellent computer skills; clean and valid driving licence
