Cooperation between EAC and GTZ has been growing through a Programs implemented jointly by the EAC and Germany responding to the new milestones of East African integration. To cope with these new dimensions the GTZ team needs to be reinforced.
Positions Available
1. Expert on Capacity Development- Contribute to the planning and execution of capacity development activities
- Provide support to EAC experts
- Develop new ideas and concepts on capacity development
- Establish an effective networking with other Institutions and Projects
- Establish and maintain the Program website
- Edit the Program newsletter
- Edit Program publications and follow up the production process
Candidates have successfully completed respective studies and trainings. We expect a minimum of 3 years of professional working experience with reputable institutions or companies. Experience with an international firm or organization is considered as an additional "plus".

Conditions of Employment
All candidates must be citizens of one of the countries of the EAC or of the Euro-pean Union, including Germany.
Incumbents will receive regional expert contracts in line with the general employ-ment conditions of GTZ in Tanzania. The working contracts will be limited in time and may be extended in line with the decisions of EAC and the German Gov-ernment to extend the activities of the cooperation program in general. In line with its general company policy, GTZ encourages especially women to be candidates for these vacancies. Candidates With proficiency in French and German will be given special attention.
