Liaison Officer - Public Health

The KEMRI Wellcome programme is an internationally recognized multi disciplinary health research programme with it headquarters at the KEMRI Centre for Geographic Medicine Research coast (CGMRC), Kilifi and a second major site in Nairobi. It conducts collaborative research throughout Kenya and has strong relations with the Ministry of Health.

We are seeking to recruit a Liaison Officer (between KEMRI Wellcome research programme and Ministry of Health)

This is a new senior post which will have responsibility for coordination of activities between research teams and their partners at all levels of the MOH within Kilifi district and in other sites within Kenya.

The post holder will be a public health professional (with either a medical, public health or nursing background). They will have experience in district public health management in Kenya, with at least two years senior managerial responsibility either within the MOH or closely allied organizations.
