Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) activities in East Africa comprise project companies in infrastructure, telecommunications, agro processing, packaging, textiles, pharmaceuticals and leather industries.
The region covers the countries in the East African Community as well as Mozambique, D R Congo and Madagascar.

The Role
To seek, identify and develop new business opportunities within existing businesses as well as new sectors which are aligned to the group's strategy
Responsibilities
- Undertake market studies and identify viable business opportunities for development
- Prepare and present appropriate business plans for identified opportunities
- Execute approved plans for new projects
- Liaise with respective business heads in development of new business for existing projects
The role would ideally suit a business, commerce or other professional discipline graduate who also:
- Is self motivated, disciplined, goal oriented and able to deliver results with minimum supervision
- Has experience in successful development of profitable new business development and achieving targets
- Is commercially astute, confident and has excellent communication skills
- Possession of an MBA is an added advantage
