Systems Administrator Job Vacancy: UNSACCO

UNSACCO is a leading SACCO with about 3,000 members from diverse
nationalities and cultural backgrounds. Our Mission is to uplift the socio-economic
status of our members by offering them high quality, affordable and diversified
financial services.

As we prepare for the future, we would like to recruit an adaptable, self driven
individual thirsty for challenge with highly developed skills in delivering cutting edge
solutions that would have a profound positive effect in our SACCO. The Systems
administrator will report to the General Manager and provide leadership in ICT
department.

Key roles include:

1. Formulating, implementing and managing integrated ICT strategies, policies and procedures within the Society.
2. Overseeing the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer application systems.
3. Investigating user problems, identifying their source, determining possible solutions, testing and implementing these solutions.
4. Providing the necessary support and training including preparing training plans for Society staff.
5. Introducing innovative ideas to support the various business processes necessary to improve delivery of services.
6. Updating the Society’s website.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT with a minimum 5 years post qualification experience, 2 years in supervisory / management role.
• Certifications on Microsoft Navision ,MS SQL server and systems security & Audit
• Data warehousing and report development skills.
• Web Development Skills.
• Good Organizational Skills.
• Accounting Knowledge.
