Chief Internal Auditor

The Role:
This is a senior position reporting to the Board Audit Committee. The job holder will provide leadership and direct the internal audit resources to support the bank’s strategy while providing independent, timely and objective assurance in line with best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop an audit universe and a risk based audit plan for approval by the board audit committee.
- Provide consulting services to the business on new processes, products and systems.
- Prepare quarterly reports and agendas for the audit committee.
- Lead discussions on audit findings and recommendations and follow up on action points.
- Develop and manage the department budgets
- Supervision and guidance of internal audit staff
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- Professional qualifications
- Masters degree and CISA are an added advantage.
- 5 years experience in internal audit at least 3 years in a senior position.
- Commercial awareness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good analytical skills and IT skills.
Head of Credit Risk

The Role:
This is a senior position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, whose function is to provide leadership and manage the credit risk department of the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure credit risks are managed within bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.
- Advise the management and board credit committee.
- Managing credit administration and recovery of non performing advances
- Provide professional advice on risk pricing, risk management matters, industry and product specialism, as well as competitor activity.
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- Appropriate banking and or credit management professional qualifications
- 5 years experience in internal audit at least 3 years in a senior position.
- Commercial awareness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good analytical skills and I.T. skills.
Manager Network and Security

The Role:
A key member of the management team, the position reports to the Head of Systems Operations. The job holder will be responsible for providing a reliable and secure
network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement annual work plans and budgets to deliver the strategic information technology plan.
- Ensure security, integrity, confidentiality and availability of information systems.
- Ensure complete documentation of all information systems in the bank..
- Oversee the maintenance of the bank’s network infrastructure and ensure support to the business operating and application systems.
- Provide effective and efficient service to internal and external customers through an organized support center..
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree computer science.
- Professional qualifications – MCSE; CCNA and security
- 3 years experience in IT network and security operations.
- Commercial awareness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good analytical skills and IT skills.
Branch Managers

The Role:
A key member of the management team, the position reports to the General Manager Branch Banking. The job holder will be responsible for business development, efficient operations and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate transaction income business of the branch.
- Grow assets and liabilities of Micro finance and SME/Retail business segments.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory policies and practices.
- Manage branch resources and ensure agreed returns are realized.
- Manage human resources in the branch and maintain good cordial relations.
- Oversee customer service in the branch and ensure acceptable service standards are maintained.
- Manage the administration of the branch.
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree computer science.
- Relevant banking professional qualifications.
- 5 years experience in banking 2 of which should have been in a managerial capacity.
- Commercial awareness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good analytical skills and IT skills.
