The Legal Officer will be responsible to the Principal and Management for legal counsel and opinion; negotiating, drafting and reviewing all agreements and contracts of the University College; interpreting the College legal documents and positions and advising on statutory compliance, intellectual property and technology transfer matters. He/she will also provide support to the College Council and Management Board on disputes with other bodies corporate.
Applicants should be Kenya citizens with LL.B, degree from a recognized university. They should be advocates of the High Court of Kenya with a minimum of seven years experience in professional practice. Possession of a Masters' degree or any other relevant postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage. They should be team-players with demonstrable leadership ability and be computer literate.
School of Engineering Science and Technology
Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering
1. Associate Professor

Applicants should be holders of Ph.D. degree in any area of specialization of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering. They should have extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels with at least four years at Senior Lecturer level.
They should in addition, have considerable practical professional experience as demonstrated by professional tasks accomplished. They should demonstrate experience in continued research activity as evidenced by scholarly publications. The successful candidate will be required to teach and supervise both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
S/he will be expected to initiate and participate in linkages and partnerships with industry and other institutions. S/he will also be expected to initiate and conduct research in their respective areas of specialization, S/he will also be required to participate in other Departmental, School and College assignments including curricula development
2. Senior Lecturer

Applicants should be holders of Ph.D. degree in any area of specialization of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering with considerable teaching experience, three years of which should be at Lecturer level.
Those with relevant Masters' degree together with seven years teaching experience and extensive practical/professional experience as demonstrated by accomplished professional tasks will also be considered.
In addition, they should demonstrate experience in continued research activity as evidenced by scholarly publications. The successful candidate will be required to teach and supervise both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
They will also be expected to initiate and conduct research in their respective areas of specialization.
3. Lecturer

Applicants should be holders of Ph.D. degree in any area of specialization of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering. Applicants in possession of a Masters' degree in the above areas with at least three years' relevant teaching experience at university level will also be considered.
They should also have research experience as evidenced by scholarly publications as well as considerable experience in professional practice as demonstrated by accomplished professional tasks.
The successful candidates will be required to teach and supervise both undergraduate and postgraduate students. They will also be expected to participate in research activities in their respective areas of specialization.
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in any area of specialization of Civil and Environmental Engineering. They should have extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels with at least four years at Senior Lecturer level.
They should show evidence of academic related activities by having scholarly publications. They should in addition, have considerable practical professional experience as demonstrated by professional tasks accomplished.
The successful applicant will be required to teach both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in addition to carrying out relevant research in his/her areas of specialization. S/he will be expected to initiate and participate in linkages and partnerships with industry and other institutions.

2. Lecturer

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in any area of Geospatial Science or Engineering from recognized universities. Applicants in possession of a Masters' degree in the above areas with at least three years, relevant teaching experience at university level will also be considered.
They should also have research experience as evidenced by scholarly publications as well as considerable experience in professional practice as demonstrated by accomplished professional tasks.
The successful candidate will be required to teach and supervise both undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as participate in research in their areas of specialization.
Note:
