Job Vacancies in a Tea Factory in Limuru Kenya

A large tea company in Limuru is looking to fill the following positions.

Assistant Factory Manager

Reporting to the Factory Manager, the Assistant Factory Manager will oversee the entire tea manufacturing process, maintenance of machinery, implementation of food safety programs and compliance with occupational health, safety and environment requirements.

The suitable candidate should be at least 28 years old, a person of high integrity, self-driven, a team player and with high initiative. He/she will also have demonstrated ability to effectively manage the activities and staff of a large food processing factory to achieve optimal results.

Applicants should be Kenyan citizens holding a B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical, Agricultural or Production Engineering or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

He/she should have at least 5 years experience in food factory operations and be computer literate in MS Office packages. Experience in tea factory operations and knowledge in implementation of food safety assurance programs will be an added advantage.

Storekeeper

Reporting to the Factory Manager, the Storekeeper will administer all stores operations, ensuring up to date and accurate manual and computerized stores records, proper stock reconciliations, well organized stores, security of stores items and maintaining stock levels in line with the company policy.

The qualified candidate should have a minimum of a diploma in storekeeping, purchasing and supplies management or a related field. He /she should have at least 5 years experience in stores operations and procurement and be computer literate. He/she should be at least 28 years of age, a person of high integrity, self-driven, a team player and with high initiative. Basic knowledge in accounting, at least CPA part 1 will be an added advantage.
