The Mater Hospital, one of the leading Health Service Providers in the country is seeking to fill the following positions:
1. MEDICAL OFFICER - COMPREHENSIVE CARE CLINIC
MH/ADV/03/09/01
Reporting to the Medical Director, the prospective candidate’s should have: -
- Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery. With valid license from MPDB
- 2 – 3 years post internship experience
- At least 1 year exposure to HIV/ AIDS care
- Be highly analytical with good diagnostic skills
- Have good one-on-one counseling skills
- Be able to organize and participate in CME’s on various aspects of HIV/AIDS management
- Be a team player self motivated and with ability to motivate the team
- Be able to initiate, follow through, evaluate and strategize on the clinical aspects of care.
2. SENIOR BUYER – PROCUREMENT & SUPPLY CHAIN
MH/ADV/03/09/02
Reporting to the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager, the successful candidate’s main
responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Source and analyse quotations from suppliers for cost effective decision making
- Prepare purchase orders for stock & non-stock items
- Monitor and control stocks inventory within the hospital to ensure that required stock levels are maintained
- Monitor and control lead time in items and service acquisition for minimal turn around
- Assist the Manager in developing, monitoring and controlling of departmental budget to ensure adherence to the set budget
- Assist in monitoring supplier profile and the tendering process for supplier contracts
- Overall coordination and efficient running of the department
Key Requirements
- Bachelors degree in procurement or business related field
- C.I.P.S Level 4
- Minimum 5 years experience for which 2 are in the Hospitality Industry
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of honesty and integrity
