Tsavo Power Company is an independent power producer with its head office based in Nairobi. We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and self motivated individual to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer.
Reporting to the CEO, the position is responsible for all financial management, reporting information flows and statutory compliance. The position through the CEO, liaises with the Board, Shareholders, Lenders, Suppliers, Customers and Statutory Authorities.
The Role
- Manage relationships with Shareholders and Lenders to ensure compliance with all covenants as well as timely and accurate reporting.
- Ensure that the company is compliant with all lender, owner and statutory requirements.
- Manage debt service and payment accounts
- Prepare business models, budgets and cash flows as required
- Maintain appropriate accounting and internal control systems
- Prepare accurate, timely management and statutory financial reports
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations whilst ensuring the most effective outcome for TPC.
- In consultation with CEO, oversee the company's risk management
- Manage the company's management information systems >
- Business related Degree
- Qualified Accountant - CPA/ACCA
- At least 5 years experience
- High Financial acumen and probity
- A self starter, results oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Attention for detail, quality and speed in delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels in an organization
- High numerical and analytical skills
