Invites applications from Sudanese Nationals for the position of Child Protection Officer, (NOB), Malakal.(Fixed Term)

Purpose of the Post
Under the overall guidance of the Chief of Field Office, Malakal and direct supervision of the Child Protection Specialist, Malakal, contribute to project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of child protection programme/project activities, data analysis and progress reporting.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required
- University degree in Social Sciences, or related technical field.
- Minimum two years of progressively responsible professional work experience at national and international level in programme management, monitoring and evaluation in related field.
- Fluency in English and another UN language as required.
- Knowledge of the local language of the duty station is an asset.
- Knowledge of latest development in the area of child protection.
- Analytical, negotiating, communication and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment, and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization.
- Knowledge of computer management and applications and ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
