SCF Eastern Africa Regional Office is based in Nairobi and is implementing projects together with partners in Kenya and Ethiopia and supporting Save the Children programme in Somalia/Somaliland.
This is a senior management position reporting to the Regional Representative; the post holder will be responsible for managing the programme development and implementation.

Requirements
- A Masters Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Sociology or any other relevant field;
- Must have a minimum of 7 years experience in development work and at least 2 of which must be in a management position;
- Experience in working with an international NGO;
- Previous work experience in Africa, preferably in Eastern Africa or otherwise proven sufficient knowledge of Eastern Africa;
- Solid experience in programme management and rights based approach;
- In-depth knowledge and experience in at least two of the SCF's programme areas (child protection, inclusive education, WASH, child rights governance and emergencies)
- Excellent planning, facilitation, communication and reporting skills.
