Main Purpose of the Role
Responsible for development of drawings from engineers’ designs while ensuring all existing drawings are updated and records safely kept.
Among others, key accountabilities will include:-

Responsible for development of drawings from engineers’ designs while ensuring all existing drawings are updated and records safely kept.
Among others, key accountabilities will include:-
- Working on all Mechanical, Piping / plumbing and Electrical project drawings
- Liaising with Engineers on any Machine drawings updates and specifications
- Liaising with Industrial Engineers on Factory layouts and machine locations
- Ensuring timely completion of all project drawings.
- Maintaining records of all drawings and reference materials
- Maintaining records of all Technicians tools, carrying out routine inspection for loses/worn-out tools and keep records
- Taking dimensions from the machines and other facilities and produce a working drawings
Key Deliverables
- Timely and accurate drawings
- Translation of ideas into technical perspective
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical/civil Engineering from a recognised institution
- Experience in the use of Computer Aided Designs will be an added advantage
- Posses excellent technical drawing skills
- Ability to interpret and translate ideas into technical perspective
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations
- Exposure in multi-disciplinary draughtsman (Mech; Elect; Architectural)
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role in a commercial environment
