Resource Development and Communication Manager
This position is responsible for the initiation, design and implementation of strategies that ensure that Habitat for Humanity Kenya has enough resources for financing the construction of low cost houses.
The position markets the organization programs and projects to individuals, local and international corporates, foundations, governments and other donors and keeps them engaged and informed on the work of Habitat for Humanity Kenya through constant communication by letters, website, newsletters and one to one communication.
Candidates applying for this position must have a Masters degree in International Development, Communication, Marketing or Resource Mobilization and five to ten years of proven hands on experience in fundraising, public relations and communication at a senior level.
They must have well developed concept development and proposal writing skills and a track record in engaging and interesting a wide variety of donors in the work of Habitat for Humanity Kenya.
Candidates with an established fundraising network will have an added advantage.
Field Officer
We are inviting applications to fill the position of a Field Officer within our Housing Microfinance Program to be based in one of our 7 locations.
The Field Officer will be responsible for programme promotion, recruitment and training of members, loan appraisal, portfolio management and house construction processes.

- Degree in Business Administration, Education or Social Sciences with a bias in economics, finance or microfinance.
- At least 2-3 years experience with an NGO.
- Candidates with microfinance experience will have an added advantage.
- The candidate must be computer literate, able and willing to live and work in rural areas and ride a motorbike.
