Trade Development Representative: Agricultural Tyres Category (AGS)
Main Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Trade Development Manager, the main purpose of this role will be to implement sales and customer service plans to deliver area targets and provide market intelligence data and reports on the Agricultural tyres category.
Among others, key accountabilities will include:-

Main Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Trade Development Manager, the main purpose of this role will be to implement sales and customer service plans to deliver area targets and provide market intelligence data and reports on the Agricultural tyres category.
Among others, key accountabilities will include:-
- Planning and delivering monthly, weekly and daily sales targets
- Coordinating collection of sales proceeds within the approved terms of trade
- Managing route plans and customer calls by ensuring market coverage within plan
- Identifying opportunities and negotiating for incremental business within the Agricultural Tyres Category.
- Developing, training, motivating and evaluating area and AGS Customers’ staff
- Collecting and collating market intelligence/research on competitor activities and other market trends for competitive advantage
Key Deliverables
- Achievement of the sales target in the designated territory
- Sales proceeds collection and adherence to the credit policy
- Customer service
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in a Business/ Marketing or engineering (mechanical/ agricultural) from a recognized institution At least 2 years comparable experience in the FMCG or engineering industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- High customer orientation
- Clean Driving
