- Carry out risk identification, assessment and audit planning for all risk areas of the company’s operations
- Report and communicate audit findings to Managing Director and the Board audit committee;
- Conducting a review of the company’s Information System Control procedures for adequacy, effectiveness and reliability
- Evaluate the corporate governance processes and make recommendation for improvement;
- Implement the company’s internal audit policies and procedures;
- Plan and coordinate the timely performance of special audit investigations and forensic audits as necessary;
- Follow up reviews- assess the implementation of management action plans to address internal control deficiencies;
- Preparation of the department’s annual budget including control and monitoring of implementation; and

- Bachelors degree in a business related field from a recognized university, preferably Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration/Business Management
- Possessing a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification is an added advantage;
- Be a Certified Internal Auditor and membership of CIA, CPA(K) or ACCA;
- At least five years’ experience in Internal Auditor role ideally in a service industry;
- Practical experience in conducting special audits, investigations and forensic audits; and
- Experience in people management and development of teams.

- Supervise the operations and maintenance of technical operations in extraction, treatment and distribution of water.
- Ensure construction of Consumer installations are duly executed to the company’s standards
- Ensure safety standards are maintained
- Ensure timely and economic maintenance programs are in place and duly executed
- Ensure water Quality tests are carried out and the results acted on.
- Maintain records for all the operations and prepare the necessary reports
- Analyze and compile draft technical reports
- Capture and update technical data into GIS database

- Bachelors degree or HND in Engineering (Civil, Water or related field)
- Relevant professional qualification
- 4 years experience with at least 1 year’s experience at a supervisory level

The role
- Administration of the company’s Information System and providing user support
- Enhancement on the billing, accounting, payroll, stores, GIS systems, develop and maintain the company web site.
- Coordinating computer hardware and software maintenance and support
- Monitor system activity logs and take appropriate measures
- Train users on trouble shooting skills
- Maintain systems networks including WAN
- Maintain company’s mail server
- Programming skills will be an added advantage
The person
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a diploma in Information Technology with 5 years experience in similar organization – experience in hardware and software support, computerized systems development and data bases management and support
- Proven oral and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead and work effectively in teams.
- Knowledge on GIS is an added advantage
