Regional Procurement Manager
Crown Agents USA, Inc. (CA-USA) is seeking a Regional Procurement Manager for the Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) Project to be based in our Kenya office.
Roles & Responsibilities
The IRS Regional Procurement Manager will be responsible for ensuring that CA-USA‘s operational responsibilities as sub-contractor are carried out smoothly.
S/he will solve management problems that appear in conjunction with CA-USA’s IRS Project Manager, Project Officer, support staff at the Crown Agents Kenya, Ltd. office as well as the prime contractor’s Operations Director in Nairobi.
S/he will alert CA-USA to potential new business in the health field under other existing or potential future contracting mechanisms, thereby assisting CA-USA’s business development program.
In addition to fulfilling both of these prime functions, s/he will serve as advisor to Crown Agents’ other international offices (IOs) in Africa.
Specifically, s/he will assist the IOs in interpreting US government regulations and procedures, in developing IRS-relating operating procedures, in developing management systems for spraying activities, in training staff and in identifying country staff for spraying activities as needed.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business management or related field, or equivalent work experience. Post graduate business degree a plus.
- 7-12 years project management experience.
- 1 year USAID or other US government agency project management experience is a must.
