FOTUN EUROPE is an independent, non partisan international association founded in 2008 to realize practical projects for the Environment and Health inspired by the principles of the United Nations Charter.

Location: Kenya - Kakamega and Bungoma (if possible), all Country in general
The International Organization Friends Of The United Nations Europe Onlus, located in Italy (Milan), is seeking a local representative located in Kenya, with a strong preference for the cities in the West (especially Bungoma and Kakamega), even if applications from other cities will be considered.
Due to the gender equality supported by the Organization, female candidates are strongly encouraged.
It is not required a particular expertise or background, but a specific interest for sexuality and reproductive health issues are necessary.
The project for which the Organization seeks the local representative is a big educational and assistance campaign addressed to young women living in some at risk communities in Western Kenya.
To syntesize the local representative has the following tasks:
- link between our Organization and the Partners/Donors located in Kenya;
- link between our Organization and some other community based groups active in the field;
- coordination of various volunteers and/or groups active on the field, to facilitate communication between the Headquarters and them.
The coming weeks are used to strengthen relationship between the Headquarters and the field, requiring a minimum commitment from the selected local representative.
To sum up, the ideal applicant is:
- young woman living in Western Kenya (we will consider applicants also from other places)
- university student or postgraduate student;
- with a specific interest in sexuality and reproductive health issues;
- with a good knowledge of the English language.
