Crown Agents USA, Inc. (CA-USA) is seeking a Chief of Party (COP) and Supply Chain Operations Manager (SCOM) for an up-coming USAID-funded, health commodities project in Malawi to capitalize on the gains made and further strengthen Malawi's health system especially in the areas of family planning, maternal child health, nutrition, malaria and HIV/AIDS.
For both these positions, skills transfer to Malawian government staff will be critical.
1. Chief of Party (COP)
The COP will be expected to oversee all critical project functions including HR, finance, reporting, and will be the point person in relations with the donor, clients and home office.
The COP must have experience in managing projects involving supply chains in health or have deep experience in managing large health projects generally at the COP, country director or project manager level. He or she must have solid experience with USAID as well.
2. Supply Chain Operations Manager (SCOM)
The SCOM will be expected to advise on and transfer skills to Malawian government officials and staff in the areas of health commodity quantification, forecasting, logistics, warehousing, inventory and distribution etc.
The SCOM must have experience in managing health commodity supply chains as well as experience in skills transfer. USAID experience or experience in Malawi is highly desirable.
