We are looking for professionally confident, self motivated, experienced and committed team player to fill the position of a Head of Finance
Start date: ASAP.
Salary: Between Ksh.40,000 to Ksh.50,000 per month net or depending on experience – Full time position.
Based in Nairobi, the Head of Finance will bear the following main responsibilities:

Based in Nairobi, the Head of Finance will bear the following main responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of ACTED Finance Department to include Base staff located in Pokot
- Responsible for overall oversight of ACTED Kenya/Somalia accountancy for Base and Capital Offices
- Carry out Financial analysis and participate in strategic decision making for ACTED Kenya/Somalia operations
- Formulation of budgets for proposed projects in coordination with Program and Logistics staff
- Responsible for External Reporting Follow-Up and preparation of Financial Reports for Donors
- Preparation of Monthly Internal Financial Reports and liaison with HQ Paris Finance Team
- Ensure ACTED Kenya/Somalia compliance with ACTED Financial procedures
- Undertake internal and external audit preparations as requested
- Responsible for Nairobi Office Accountancy
Required Skills:
- University degree in accountancy
- Minimum 3 years experience to include experience of working with INGOs/Donor Reporting
- At least 1 years of Managerial experience
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel
- Fluent Spoken and Written English and Swahili
- Strong communication and Leadership skills
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively
