This position is responsible to assist in quoting, installations, repairs and maintenance of solar products and equipment, trouble-shooting and diagnostics of the solar energy products and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support
- Installations of various sizes of solar projects
- Customer service and training on the usage and basic maintenance of solar systems
- Failure diagnostics, repairs and maintenance of all solar equipment
- Providing Interdepartmental request support
Qualifications and skills required:
- Technical/science/engineering degree or experience with energy systems
- Three (3) years working with solar systems and other electrical systems
- Practical knowledge of solar systems and their components
- Practical experience with diagnostic tools, meters, and other specialized testing equipment
- Ability to efficiently inspect and troubleshoot system failures, including photovoltaic systems
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with metering and test equipment
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to demonstrate a responsive, customer service approach to listening and responding to requests
- Ability to communicate status of work activities and issues with peers, interdepartmental staff and management as they relate to projects and tasks
- Excellent organizational skills
- A high degree of organization and self-motivation is required.
