ActionAid International seeks to employ an International Project Accountant for the Access to Justice for Women (A2JW) project on a two year fixed term contract.
Reporting to the International Project managers for the internationally funded DFID and DANIDA projects the successful candidate will ensure the financial integrity of the specific externally funded A2JW projects and to provide consolidated financial plans and reports for the projects as needed within the requirements of the different donors and Project Management/Accountability teams.
This shall be achieved through the following Key accountabilities.

- Overall Project Financial Management
- Project Start up by developing appropriate financial tools and ensuring implementation and set up of financial systems in participating countries
- Providing specific financial expertise and something ius missing here I think reporting.
The successful candidate will have the following essential experience and skills:
- Experience of leading on financial aspects of multi-country donor contract management and providing advice on complex financial management;
- experience in developing financial operational systems and schedules;
- excellent financial management and administration skills;
- excellent communication skills and fluency in English;
- ability to prioritize and adhering to tight deadlines;
- ability to work in and cope in a demanding environment;
- strong, analytical, financial reporting and presentation skills;
- Experience in using accounting software appropriate for a large international organization;
- advanced excel skills;
- Minimum degree level accounting or Financial management qualification;
- ability to travel extensively.
- Desirable experience includes: experience of using SUN accounts and Vision Executives and Vision Excel.
- Experience in working in French.
