The consulting practice combines specialist technical, strategic and financial expertise and experience accrued over two decades to deliver a sustainable low carbon society and we are looking to recruit the following two positions

• Senior Consultant (Senior Project Technical Specialist) -Tanzania, Dar es Salaam (Ref: SC-TZ-JR)
  
• Senior Consultant - Nairobi, Kenya (Ref: SC-N-JR)

Both roles role will focus on project design, project management and project evaluation inputs into the identification, design, development and execution of rural, and urban, modern energy projects (particularly renewable energy, energy efficiency, fuel substitution), with a strong emphasis on off-grid and grid extension electricity projects.

The Consultants will be working with a variety of technologies and energy systems. The Consultant will also be responsible for working with existing team to identify carbon projects and for taking such projects through the qualification process from project design through approval to registration.

The successful candidates will hold a BA, BSc (Hons) or equivalent in economics, science, engineering, environmental studies or finance and Masters or other post¬graduate qualification, A minimum of five years experience in a relevant field is required. Good overall development skills with the ability to bring technical expertise to the design of projects, to ensure that a wide range of small and large scale technical approaches, technologies and equipment are relevant fo the tasks at hand.

Proven experience and track record in business development, writing reports, proposals and plans that integrate strong technical components into multi-disciplinary projects and approaches is essential
