KADET Limited is a fast growing financial service company and an investment of the World Vision Kenya. We wish to recruit a highly competent, proactive and self driven person to fill the position of;
INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER
The purpose of the position is to help the institution accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes; by coordinating, monitoring and facilitating compliance with existing laws, rules and regulations and advising the Board of Directors and management on the adequacy of the systems, risk management and IT controls.
Qualifications: Knowledge and Technical Skills:
- University degree in accountancy, business administration or related discipline. A professional accountant (CPA - K) with 2 years audit experience.
- CIA or CISA is an added advantage
- Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of rectitude
- Ready to comply and live up to and in accordance with the organization Ideals and Core Values
- Be proficient in Microsoft office applications
- Experience in microfinance or banking operations is an added advantage.
- A solid personality with a track record in professionalism and integrity
The purpose of the position is to carry out independent assessments of the organisation's internal control systems and advise management on their appropriateness to the company and effectiveness in their operation.
Qualifications: Knowledge and Technical Skills:
- CPA qualifications with long experience in Audit Experience in microfinance is preferred
- A Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) has an added advantage
- Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of rectitude
- Ready to comply and live up to and in accordance with the organization Ideals and Core Values
- Be proficient in Microsoft office applications Excellent Interpersonal, Communication and analytical skills
