Tax Senior Career Opportunity

Koimburi Tucker & Co. is a fast growing accountancy firm providing a wide range of professional services to a wide cross section of the economy.

Koimburi Tucker is a member firm of NEXIA International.

Established over 25 years ago, the firm is now looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of a Tax Senior with immediate effect.

He will work closely with the Tax Manager and other Tax Assistants in the department to serve individual and corporate clients in the following areas: Personal Tax, Corporate Tax including VAT, Customs, and other tax classes. The firm has a solid and growing range of not-for-profit organizations and a growing cross boarder tax assignments.

Applicants must possess the following academic and professional qualifications:

1. At least have a Bachelors Degree in a relevant field.
2. Have a minimum of five years working experience with a reputable Audit or Accounting firm,
3. Age bracket of between 30 - 45 years;
4. Have good understanding of the Kenya Revenue Acts to be able to advise clients on current law and future changes;
   
5. Have ability to correspond with clients on issues raised;
6. Be able to carry out VAT Refund Audits;
7. Be responsible for the preparation of personal tax returns and computation of income tax for clients;
8. Be able to assist clients to meet compliance deadlines;
9. Be able to supervise a team of Tax Assistants;
10. Be computer literate with hands on skills in applications including PowerPoint Presentation;
11. Pleasant personality and ability to empathize with clients;
