The Company seeks to recruit suitable candidates for the following positions:
SENSOR ALIGNMENT DESIGN ENGINEER (1 POSITION)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and design of major railways and highway projects including associated interchanges
- Evaluate and review existing designs of major highways and railways against international (AASHTO, British and German) standards
- Coordinate teams of Engineers and CAD Technicians in the preparation of working drawings for designed railways and road projects
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a technically responsible specialist in the field of highway and railway engineering;
- Highly motivated individual with personal initiative and willingness to accept a wide range of managerial responsibilities;
- Good knowledge of highway and railway design codes and practices;
- Proficiency in computer applications with specialized knowledge of CAD design software for highways and railways, specifically CIVIL 3D and PRO-VI;
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and field work for materials and geotechnical investigations for major railways and highway projects;
- Evaluate and review existing pavement designs for highways and railways;
- Coordinate teams of Engineers, Laboratory and CAD Technicians and oversee their work in the field, laboratory and office;
- Preparation of Geotechnical and Materials Reports;
- Quality assurance of field and laboratory work;
- Offer specialist geotechnical advice on pavement and foundation design of highway and railway structures.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a technically responsible specialist in the field of materials and geotechnical engineering;
- Sound knowledge of geology, geological and materials investigations;

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Pavement Specialist will be expected to work independently on pavement analysis and design for highways, airports and infrastructure projects
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a technically responsible specialist in the pavement investigations and design
- Highly motivated individual with personal initiative and willingness to accept a wide range of managerial responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Within delegated authority, the Drainage Engineer will be expected to carry out the following duties and tasks:
- Hydrological analysis for railways and highway projects
- Hydraulic design of drainage structures
- Ability under the Highway Engineer to undertake design of drainage structures
- Ability to undertake requisite site inspections for drainage structures
- Highly motivated individual with personal initiative
- A good working knowledge of standard computer applications i.e Word, Spreadsheets, project management, databases and power point
- Good knowledge of highway and railway design codes and practices

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare computer models for hydraulic systems including potable water transmission and distribution networks, surface and subsurface drainage networks, and waste water treatment systems;
- Develop forecasted projections of potable water demand, based on consumer growth and provide input for planning purposes on necessary expansion of water and wastewater facilities to meet future requirements;
- Review hydraulic and system design by plant suppliers for water and wastewater facilities;
- Carry out planning and design of water supply systems, including source development, treatment, transmission, storage and distribution;
- Evaluate, review and revise project documents, and analyze design specifications included in project proposals for accuracy, soundness, feasibility and cost;
- Recommend solutions to a wide range of water and wastewater engineering problems.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a technically responsible specialist in the field of hydraulic engineering;
- Have a high Degree of personal initiative and a willingness to accept a wide range of responsibilities thorough knowledge of water supply and hydraulic systems including the latest innovations;

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out the planning and design of wastewater systems, including collection, treatment and discharge;
- Plan and design water supply systems, including source development, treatment, transmission, storage and distribution;
- Evaluate, review and revise project documents, and analyze design specifications included in project proposals for accuracy, soundness, feasibility and cost;
- Recommend solutions to a wide range of water and sanitation engineering problems.

PROJECT CIVIL ENGINEER (1 POSITION)

- Provision of design and construction supervision inputs in respect of projects being undertaken by the Company;
- Production of designs and drawings using design software, AutoCAD and other computer programs as necessary;
- Preparation and production of project reports to Company standards;
- Undertaking in-house design reviews and in-house quality assurance processes in respect to projects undertaken;
- Guidance, supervision and on-the-job training of staff reporting to the candidate.
Demonstrated ability to serve as a technically responsible specialist in all aspects of engineering
REQUIRED:
- B.Sc Degree (Civil / Structural Engineering);
- Registration with a well-recognized engineering body will be an added advantage;
- Need to be computer literate and be proficient in design and estimating software.

- Experience in the airports and railway sectors shall be desirable and working knowledge of Arabic, French or Russian will be an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Project Manager / Senior Electrical Engineer, the primary duties and responsibilities of the Project Electrical Engineer shall include but not restricted to the following:
- Production of designs and drawings using design software, AutoCAD and other computer programs as necessary;
- Preparation, production and review of project or technical reports to Company standards;
- Undertaking in-house design reviews and in-house quality assurance processes in respect of projects undertaken;
- Liaising with clients and other consultants, where necessary, in the course of project delivery;

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Electrical Engineer / Project Electrical Engineer, the primary duties and responsibilities of the Junior Electrical Engineer shall include but not restricted to the following:
- Production of designs and drawings using design software, AutoCAD and other computer programs as necessary;
- Undertaking in-house design reviews and in-house quality assurance processes in respect to projects undertaken.

REQUIRED:

SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER -BUILDING SERVICES (1 POSITION)
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Liaising with clients and other consultants, where necessary, in the course of project delivery;

(a) Modern air conditioning / ventilation / cooling systems and their controls;

(c) Modern space and water heating systems and their controls including boiler plant (hot water / steam), district and room heating systems, fuel systems including oil and natural gas systems, etc;
(d) Modern plumbing, drainage and sanitary systems;

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and delivery of projects being undertaken by the Company to satisfy the Quality Assurance standards, budgetary requirements and project brief:
- Provision of design and construction supervision inputs in respect of projects being undertaken by the Company;

REQUIRED:
B.Sc Degree in Structural Engineering.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years post-qualification design and construction supervision experience gained in a busy consultancy and / or contracting environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Production of design / construction working drawings and related technical documentation with all the correct detailing and specifications;
- Reviewing drawings produced by others in accordance with the Company's Quality Assurance policy;
- Co-ordination, supervision and on-the-job training of staff who may be placed under the candidate's guidance.
The candidate shall be in possession of an Higher National Diploma in an engineering / architectural or construction-related field.
He / she shall in addition possess excellent Auto CAD skills with at least 5 years proven track record and experience in using Auto CAD and other discipline-specific software to prepare design and construction drawings / details for large projects in a busy consultancy or contracting environment.
This experience should have been gained in various building and infrastructure sectors.
Proficiency in at least two of the following disciplines will be desirable:
(a) Structural detailing including RC, steelwork and load-bearing masonry;
(b) Civil works detailing;
(c) Electrical (building sen/ices) detailing;
(d) Mechanical (building services) detailing;
(e) Architectural detailing using ArchiCAD, 3D visualisation and animation with capability of producing accurate photo-realistic images, walkthroughs, etc.
Possession of relevant construction site supervision experience will be an advantage.
CAD TECHNICIAN - CIVIL (4 POSITIONS)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
AutoCAD detailing; RC detailing suite.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
The candidate shall be in possession 6f a Higher National Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering with at least 5 years post-qualification experience gained in a busy consultancy and / or contracting environment.
This experience shall have been in the preparation of layout drawings from engineers' sketches for the following civil engineering services within buildings and infrastructure projects, among others:
(a) Waste water disposal;
(b) Storm water disposal;
(c) Access roads and parking;
(d) Water reticulation;
The candidate must be computer literate and shall be proficient in the following:
(a) AutoCAD detailing
(b) RC detailing suite.
(c) International codes and standards applicable to the above listed systems including BS standards, ISO standards and DIN standards;
CAD TECHNICIAN - ELECTRICAL BUILDING SERVICES (4 POSITIONS)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
AutoCAD MEP detailing;
KEY COMPETENCIES:
The candidate shall be in possession of a Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 /ears post-registration design and construction supervision experience gained in a busy consultancy and / or contracting environment.
This experience shall have been in the preparation of layout drawings from engineers' sketches for the following electrical services within buildings and infrastructure projects, among others:
(a) Incoming 11kV/415V electricity supply Installations;
(b) L. V. switchboards;
(c) Standby generator installations;
(d) Voltage stabilizers;
(e) UPS(Un-interruptible power supplies);
(f) Electrical distribution and bus-bar mains;
(g) Power socket outlet installations;
(h) Power supplies for mechanical plant and equipment;
(i) Interior, external security and street lighting installations;
(j) Fire detection and alarm systems;
(k) Telecommunication, IT structured cabling and data management systems;
(I) Security and access control systems etc;
(m) PA and sound distribution systems;
(n) Earthing, grounding, lightning and transient over-voltage protection systems etc;
(o) Energy and load audits;
(p) Liaisons with the power distribution companies and telecommunications companies for provision of electricity and telecommunication services;
The candidate must be computer literate and shall be proficient in the following:
(a) international codes and standards applicable to the above listed systems including BS standards, ISO standards and DIN standards;
(b) AutoCAD MEP detailing.
CAD TECHNICIAN – MECHANICAL BUILDING SERVICES (4 POSITIONS)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
AutoCAD MEP detailing
KEY COMPETENCIES:
The candidate shall be in possession of a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution with at least 3 years post,-registration design and construction supervision experience gained in a busy consultancy and / or contracting environment.
This experience shall have been in the preparation of layout drawings from engineers' sketches for the following mechanical services within buildings and infrastructure projects, among others:
(a) Modern air conditioning / ventilation / cooling systems and their controls;
(b) Building Management Systems (BMS);
(c) Modern space and water heating systems and their controls including boiler plant (hot water / steam), district and room heating systems, fuel systems including oil and natural gas systems, etc;
(d) Modern plumbing, drainage and sanitary systems;
(e) Water treatment, storage, pumping and distribution systems;
(f) Wastewater / sewage treatment and disposal;
(g) Rainwater drainage and disposal systems;
(h) Fire protection systems including sprinkler and foam systems to NFPA and FOC requirements;
(i) Gas, air and vacuum systems;
(j) Kitchen and laundry plant / Equipment;
(k) Conveyor systems;
(l) Refuse collection and disposal systems;
(m) Acoustic design, treatment and considerations associated with the above systems, including vibration control.
The candidate must be computer literate and shall be proficient in the following:
(a) International codes and standards applicable to the above listed systems including BS standards, ISO standards and DIN standards;
(b) AutoCAD MEP detailing.
CAD TECHNICIAN - HEAVY CURRENTS (2 POSITIONS)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
AutoCAD MEP detailing
KEY COMPETENCIES:
The candidate shall be in possession of a Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Currents) with at least 3 years post-registration design and construction supervision experience gained in a busy consultancy and / or contracting environment.
This experience shall have been in the preparation of layout drawings from engineers' sketches for the following electrical power services within buildings and infrastructure projects, among others:
(a) Incoming 11/33/66/132kV electricity supply installations;
(b) HV Switchgears;
(c) HV protection systems;
(d) Scada systems;
(e) 11kV overhead and underground distribution mains;
(f) Standby generator installations (11kV etc);
(g) Telecommunication systems; (h)
h) IT structured cabling and data management systems;
(i) Earthing, grounding, lightning and transient over-voltage protection etc;
(j) Liaisons with the power distribution companies for provision of electricity mains services;
The candidate must be computer literate and shall be proficient in the following:
(a) International codes and standards applicable to the above listed systems including BS standards, ISO standards and DIN standards;
(b) AutoCAD MEP detailing.
CAD TECHNICIAN - STRUCTURAL (16 POSITIONS)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
AutoCAD detailing; RC detailing.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
The candidate shall be in possession of a Higher National Diploma in Structural / Civil Engineering with at least 5 years post-qualification experience gained in a busy consultancy and / or contracting environment.
This experience shall have been in the preparation of layout drawings from engineers' sketches for the following structural engineering within buildings and infrastructure projects, among others:
(a) High rise buildings;
(b) Low rise Go-downs and Workshops;
(c) Steel structures;
(d) Water retaining structures;
(e) Link bridges and tunnels.
The candidate must be computer literate and shall be proficient in the following:
(a) AutoCAD detailing software.
(b) RC detailing software.
(c) International codes and standards applicable to the above listed systems including BS standards, ISO standards and DIN standards;
CAD TECHNICIAN – ARCHITECTURE & BUILDINGS (6 POSITIONS)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production of design / construction working drawings
KEY COMPETENCIES:
The candidate shall be in possession of an Ordinary National Diploma in an engineering / architectural or construction-related field.
He / she shall in addition possess good Auto CAD skills with at least 5 years proven track record and experience in using Auto CAD and other discipline-specific software to prepare design and construction drawings / details for large projects in a busy consultancy or contracting environment. This experience should have been gained in various building and infrastructure sectors.
Proficiency in at least two of the following disciplines will be desirable:
- Structural detailing including RC. steelwork and load-bearing masonry;
- Civil works detailing;
- Electrical (building services) detailing
- Mechanical (building services) detailing;
- Architectural detailing using ArchiCAD, 3D visualisation and animation with capability of producing accurate photo-realistic images, walkthroughs, etc;
